Skills alone cannot cut it but persistent will always win.
Hello! My friends, Glad to be here once more again especially to share with you on this wonderful topic; Empowerment , Knowledge/Skills Acqisition, Pesistence & Costly Sacrifices.
Is life easy?
No! Life is metal! It’s hard! Is it suppose to be easy? No! If it’s easy, even a goat will head MTN board of directors.
But then, why is it hard and designed to be hard? The answer is very simple: To refine a piece of gold, you must pass it through the refiner’s fire, to bring out the beauty in a piece of diamond, you must put it under the blade.
Whatever you experience in life is a fragment of the “whole parts” that makes you who you’ll eventually become. Greatness awaits everyone at the end of the tunnel but only those who are determined enough will take it by force.
Life is about sacrifice. The money, wealth and financial freedom that you could be enjoying in your family now could be as a result of your grandfather’s/ or your father’s timeless sacrifice; sometimes it could also be a direct result of your own personal effort.
Whatever the case may be, someone somewhere worked and sacrificed for something someone somewhere is enjoying. Same way it’s going to be difficult if someone somewhere decides not to work for the future of their kids or even directly for themselves.
To rise up above the level called AVERAGE, you have to stop doing what the average people are doing and start doing what the average people don’t do.
Making money is more of a mental war than it is physical.
WHY?
Because In life, it takes interest, commitment, willingness and rock-solid determination to get it right and achieve one’s set goals particularly in record time.
Some of us most times find it difficult to sacrifice our time and especially money to get done things that matters the most to us and this is just natural to every man.
It is usually easier to get a new pair of shoes or jean than go for your routine medical check up. It’s also easier to get a new smart phone than use same amount of money acquire say a skill in one of the major programming languages.
Our dreams, goals and aspirations will come true when we put our priorities right and attend to what matters most by delaying sensual gratifications today for a glorious elevation tomorrow.
You see, you cannot achieve anything by mere wishful thinking. You have to commit physically to it with your time and money and spiritually by dedicating your whole essence to it; if it truly really matters to you.
Your willingness to pay for that knowledge/ skills makes it more valuable to you, allowing you to truly see its real worth and in turn gain respect from those you learn it from and as well as hold in high esteem that which you’ve acquired through learning.
Some of us are always so bent on getting everything for free; and life doesn’t work that way.
When we were in school we were not just willing to go to school but we were also committed to paying our school fees and other attendant levies etc.
We made a lot of other sacrifices by buying books & other materials to aid us in learning so why can’t we do same now that we’re out of school and independent in order to improve our lives and boost our individual careers?
If it means you denying yourself some personal needs in order to get that knowledge/ skill, then do it! In the end it’ll be worth it and nothing else will count because it will surely not only pay you, but most definitely will elevate your persona.
There is this special feeling that comes to mind when you sacrifice to get a particular thing done (especially paying for it from your pocket to get it accomplished through someone you know). It puts you in a place of authority, to ask questions and demand for the best service there is, thereby helping you walk away with your shoulders high when all is done; as well as gain respect from that person.
Today I can’t count the sacrifices and commitment I made for the knowledge and skills I have acquired even when it came from people who are very close to me. I never asked for it for free just to take advantage of my relationship with them; more so, I believe that whatever is worth doing is worth doing well.
Therefore, if I’m getting the best of service, that is simply due to the fact that I’m also paying for it.
I remember paying almost N600,000 to learn just the duplication system from one of my mentors few years ago and this helped me build an estimated 30,000-capacity organization under my personal network when I was into Network Marketing.
Now each time I remember all those sacrifices and commitment made, I can’t help but just be grateful for some of those life-changing decisions that I made in the first place because I’m where I am today because of them and God’s grace upon my life.
So friends, let’s learn how to sacrifice, value, commit and take some calculated risks by setting aside everything that matters the most to us towards acquiring that life-changing knowledge and skills that we desire to help us become better, more enlightened and prosperous in our walk in this life’s journey.
You deserve the best, give it to yourself. You’re worth it and the experience is worth everything too!
So it’s time to make that change and renew your mind.
